Phrases buyers ignore
Paste a message and see which lines a buyer has read a hundred times before, with what to say instead.
Why these lines cost you
I get a lot of cold outreach, and the same few lines turn up in most of it. By the time I've read "hope you're well" and "quick question", I've usually decided the rest is a template.
Paste your message and this finds those lines, the ones a buyer skims past. For each one you get why it costs you and what to do instead. It runs on a fixed list, so it's quick and it costs nothing.
It won't judge the rest of your message. My check does that, with my answer and a rewrite in your voice.
Questions
Which phrases does it look for?
The 17 lines I see most in cold outreach, from "quick question" to "just checking in". It's the same list my check uses when it judges how much a message sounds like a person.
Can it tell how my message was written?
No. It finds stock phrases, wherever they came from. Nothing here can tell who or what wrote a message, and it doesn't try.
Why doesn't it give me a ready-made line?
Because a ready-made line soon becomes the next stock phrase. Each suggestion points at what the phrase stands in for, and anything in [square brackets] is yours to fill in.
Does it skip lines I'm quoting?
Yes. Anything in quotation marks, a quoted reply, and the old subject after "Re:" or "Fwd:" are left alone, because they aren't your words.
Is what I paste kept?
No. Your message is read in memory to find the phrases, then dropped. It isn't saved anywhere.
Would I reply?
For a buyer's read of the whole message, with a rewrite, there's the check: £5.
